Obituary for Robert Lee Burchett, Sr.

Robert Lee Burchett, Sr. of Camden/Wyoming passed away, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at home. He was 70.

Mr. Burchett was born March 24, 1948 in Radford, Virginia to the late, William Robert Burchett and Susie Moore Burchett.

He served in the United States Marines Corp and did 2 tours during the Vietnam War. Mr. Burchett worked in the safety department at Bechtel Corporation as Senior Safety Specialist. He worked in several different industries in their safety departments. Mr. Burchett enjoyed golfing, watching the Ravens and Kentucky basketball. He was a member of the American Legion Post #200 in Hampstead, MD, Kentucky Ravenna Post #77 and Dundalk Post #38.

Mr. Burchett is survived by his wife of 29 years, Roxanne Douglas Burchett of Camden/Wyoming, DE; children, Diana Lynn Bellusci (Dean) of Hampstead, MD, Robert Lee Burchett, Jr. of Baltimore, MD and Melissa Russell (Kevin) of Middle River, MD; grandchildren, Michael R. Burchett (Brianna), Devyn Taylor Leese (Jake) and Aiden Bryant-Simons; great grandchildren, Jaxon Robert Burchett and Vaida Rae Leese.

A visitation will be held from 1-3 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover.
