Donald R. King of Magnolia died Thursday March 8, 2012 at home. He was 72.
Mr. King was born April 15, 1939 in Virginia to the late Ray B. King and Gennele Virginia King.
He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years retiring as a MSGT. Mr. King had also been the manager at Rising Sun Liquor Store for many years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy King in 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda S. Marcum King of Magnolia; daughters, Donna S. King of Harrington and Melinda K. King of Magnolia; grandsons, Adam and Ryan King of Harrington.
Graveside prayers will be held 2pm Saturday March 10, 2012 at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
