James A Wilkison

August 24, 1939 - September 9, 2011

James A. Wilkison of Wyoming died Friday September 9, 2011 at Kent General Hospital. He was 72.

Mr. Wilkison was born August 24, 1939 in Dover, DE to the late Murrell L. Wilkison and Ethel Marker Wilkison.

He had served in the United States Airforce for 4 years. Mr. Wilkison retired after 20 plus years from the State of Delaware Dept. of Transportation Sign Shop. He worked part time in his garage until he suffered poor health. Mr. Wilkison was a member of the Camden/Wyoming Moose Lodge #203.

Mr. Wilkison is survived by his brother, Robert Wilkison and his wife Marie of Dover; sisters, Margaret Pallum of Felton and Ruth Wooters of Smyrna; and his constant companion, his dog Oreo.

Memorial services will be held 11am, Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Edgehill Church of God, 702 Maple Parkway, Dover, DE 19901.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Edgehill Church of God, 702 Maple Parkway, Dover, DE 19901 or the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
