Biography

Bertha V. Forshey of Magnolia died Friday April 9, 2010 at home. She was 77.

Mrs. Forshey was born September 1, 1932 in Elkton, Maryland to the late Benjamin M. Husfelt and Bertha Diefenderfer Husfelt

She had worked for National Cup Company for 30 years as a machine operator and then went to work for Playtex in manufacturing, retiring after 8 years. Mrs. Forshey enjoyed NASCAR especially Richard Petty and Jeff Gordon and doing crossword puzzles.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Forshey in 1979 and her sister Eleanor Goggin in 2008.

She is survived by her son, James McComsey “Bobby”; brother, Dave Husfelt and sister Ethel Ambagies.

The family would like to say a special thanks to her nephew David Miller; nieces Connie Taylor and Charlotte Clark for all their love and support.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday April 14, 2010 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
