David J. Caward, III of Smyrna, died Friday January 29, 2010 due to a car accident. He was 22.
David was born November 11, 1987 in Dover, Delaware to David J. Caward, Jr. and Barbara Thomas.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skateboarding, bicycling and being with family and friends.
David is survived by his mother, Barbara Thomas of Smyrna; his father, David Caward, Jr. of Wilmington; brothers, Bruce Morris and Gregory “CJ” Johnson, Jr. both of Smyrna, Gaige Caward of PA; Maternal grandparents, Mary Thomas and Ernie Finn of Dover; his girlfriend, Stephanie Marine of VA; aunts and uncles, Denise & Brian Fletcher, Howard & Kelly Deputy, Buddy and Dale Collins all of Smyrna, Ricky O’Bryan of PA, Denise O‘Donnell of Delaware City, Frances and Jim Hamby of GA; cousin, Kelly Irwin; extended family, Heidi, PJ and Brittney Finnegan, Pauletta Nonnie Johnson of Delaware City; many cousins and one great cousin.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday February 6, 2010 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call from 10-12 Saturday morning.
